I absolutely love Pearl Street in Boulder, CO, so after an extremely tough week I took off Saturday and drove up there to just breathe and take it all in. These guys were awesome, and their rendition of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” got more than a few of us dancing in the streets. I swear I was born to be a hippy. with clean hair. 😉
Not sure if this fits the Focus 52 theme of “Aged”, but I guess the instruments do.
Girl!!!
My most fav shot of yours yet.
Absolutely love this.
Aw, thanks J! I love Boulder, it’s awesome in the spring and summer to take photos.
Love this shot! Awesome!
Thank you Sandra! 😉
Accordian dude kinda looks like he wants me dead.
ROFL! I kinda thought the same 😉
Sleep with one eye open…….LOL
Fabulous photo!! Nothing like street musicians to tug at your soul and get you dancing!
Thanks Barbara! They were truly awesome, and there were a few of us dancing. 😉 I think I’ll print this & take it along next time I go to Boulder, and give them copies if they’re there again.
What an awesome shot! The Lion Sleeps Tonight is a favorite song from my childhood…
Thanks Martha! I love the song as well.
Accordian guy looks like he could use some coffee! 😉
Wonderful, candid shot!
LOL Pauline! He kind of does. Thankssomuch, I think I’ll do some prints of these shots next time I drive to Boulder & give them to this band.
Maybe then the accordian player dude will let me live. lol
